Yes, we are HETAS registered and all sweeping and installations are compliant with the latest regulations. 

Your chimney should be swept annually. This is not only to keep it functioning properly but to ensure that your home insurance is not affected. 

The sweep will need a thirteen amp wall socket for a vacuum, and as much space around the fireplace area as possible. A clear walkway is necessary to access the fireplace, and if you own any old dust sheets, it would be a good idea to conceal items that you may be concerned about. It is also essential to extinguish the fire a minimum of 24 hours before the sweep arrives.

Sweeping a chimney can be very messy, though we will do everything possible to ensure that your property is left in a clean and tidy state. Our sweeps are highly professional and will be able to clean any mess created to quickly resolve the problem. We also have public liability insurance.

On some occasions, chimneys are not swept often enough. In other instances, there could be a known issue such as a blockage, birds nest, or damage. In these instances, we advise our customers to remove valuables from the room and sheet up surfaces with plastic poly sheets before your sweeps arrive. It would be a good idea to tell the sweep about any known problems or issues before they begin work.
